With the surge in global palm oil prices as well as, palm oil import from Malaysia, member elect Bende North state constituency, Hon Nnamdi Ibekwe has called for more investment by people from Bende North all over the country and beyond to consider investment in palm oil produce chain.

He harped on its essence in view of its overall economic benefits which includes, but not limited to source of revenue/income, employment, development and industrialisation of the constituency and south east region as a whole.

Speaking further, he stated that, currently the inherent opportunities are under utilised, hence, the urgent need to latch unto the global palm oil demand and increase in price to launch a well orchestrated plan that will unbundle and unleash the great potentials and benefits.

He bemoaned the current state of palm produce chain, said, that it is a pity that Malaysia that, came in the 50s to learn and also take seedlings from south east now lead the global palm oil business. Speaking further, he said it is time to reclaim the position for the benefit our people.

The Rotary Club of Aba has demonstrated their support for The member elect Bende North State Constituency Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe by congratulating him on his victory at the poll.

In a letter dated 23rd May, 2023 and signed by the president elect and president nominee, the group assured Hon. Nnamdi Ibekwe of their support as he Commences his work for the people of Bende North.

Hon Ibekwe appreciated the group for their kind thoughts and invitation to join the group. And assured them of his readiness to work with every well meaning body to deliver qualitative leadership and representation to the people of Abia state.

The Igbere Welfare Union (IWU) has sent their congratulatory message to The member elect, Bende North State Constituency, Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe on his outstanding performance in the just concluded general elections.

In a letter signed by the president of the union, Comrade Godswill Awara Okorie, acknowledged that Hon. Ibekwe deservedly won the election and the people trust his qualifications as an effective representative.therefore,they have shown it by voting him massively.

Your successful emergence at the state house of assembly election was on a meritorious scale. We rejoice with you and have absolute trust in your capacity for effective and efficient representation for Bende North constituency.

On his part Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe promised to keep to his campaign promises and represent their kind words towards him by representing Bende North efficiently and effectively.

Hon. Nnamdi lbekwe Member Elect Bende North state constituency has charged children, especially those in Bende North to always give their best shot at life as they won’t miss the success mark during this year’s Children’s Day celebration.

Speaking further, Hon. Ibekwe stated that, it is an incontestable human existential reality that, when someone, any body no matter his/her background in the society is dedicated, efficient, commited and works extremely hard, the person will definitely hit the success mark; Success comes to those who worked hard for it. So as good children, they should be studious, disciplined and commited to the teaching and learning received in their various schools.

Speaking further Hon. Ibekwe harped on the need to strengthen teaching and learning processes, conditions, infrastructural enhancement, as well as improved emoluments as a way of fulfilling conception of schools as a place for haters of ignorance. As well as centres for conditioning of the mind for innovation, creativity and development.

The member elect Bende North State Constituency Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe has enjoi ed parents especially those in Umunna to take proper raising of children seriously because the outcome of the society is a function of family upbringing to a large extent.

Speaking during his visits to the parents of Felix Egu and Elekwachi Chukwu who were welcomed into their families with gladness,he stressed that the call to parenthood is a call to serious responsibilities.

It is binding on parents to ensure proper upbringing of their children. This way parents can help the society to develop healthily because the criminals and great inventors we have in our societies are products of family upbringing to a large extent

Speaking further, he congratulated the parents of the newborns and promised them that on his part as the elect member of Bende North, he will work assiduously to ensure that Umunna is placed on a threshold of sustainable development so that when their children will come of age, they will benefit from the works of Oziomachi Foundation in the area of infrastructural development.

The member elect Bende North state constituency Hon. Nnamdi lbekwe has called well to do and well meaning Bende North nay Abia people and Ndigbo in general to emulate Dr Sunday Orji Abel by thinking home and investing back at home during his visit at the oil processing industry he is building in Umunna.

Dr Sunday in his address to the visitors stated that his decision to engage in such a huge reverse investment despite the challenges of such efforts in Nigeria was borne out of the desire to fill the yawning gap we have in palm oil industries here in Nigeria.

Hon Ibekwe who was filled with awe of such efforts further stated that, it is a contradiction of self inflicted injury for Ndigbo to invest heavily outside lgbo in all states of the federation mainly in Lagos and Abuja only to turn round and claim of infrastructure/development marginalisation in the country. Speaking further he said, with a scenario such as this how will south east develop with south easterners ranking second in the development of states of residence.

Speaki g further, Dr Ibekwe advised that to develop south east, Bende North state constituency in particular our people should be global in investment and most importantly take a cue from Dr Sunday Orji Abel and also invest at home; as this will orchestrate a quantum leap in development and equally create job opportunities for our people via industrialisation.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Ibekwe eulogised Ms Chukwu for her resilience and determination for exemplary service to humanity by embarking on her chosen carrier path. Stating that, time has come for women in all spheres of human endeavour to strive and set the enviable mark taking a cue from women like Ngozi- Okonjo lweala, Chiamanda Adichie, Hilda Bassey, and many more.

He used the opportunity to encourage her and her colleagues to strive for even greater heights because there is no limitations to what we can achieve once we believe and work.

Hon. Nnamdi lbekwe the member elect, Bende North state constituency has congratulated Ms Bassey for the exhibition of the “l can do spirit” in man which is required to excel in all spheres of human endeavour by setting a Guinness world record through her cooking.

The member elect further stated that, her Stalin efforts, sheer determination and the belief in her abilities are quite exemplary. He therefore, encouraged the youths, especially those in Bende North state constituency not to despise the the days of little beginning, but rather, strive to excel by being the best in whatsoever they do.

Speaking further, he stated that, such excellent spirit to excel does not come quite easy, but rather, consistent tenacity, determination hinged on high level efficiency.

The Member elect, Bende North State Constituency, Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe has congratulated all the Assemblies of God Church Women on their annual Women’s Day Celebration worldwide.

Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe appreciated the women for their prayers and support to the society and also reminded them that they are specially created to continue to serve as pillars for social sustenance, growth and development in the society.

He further charged the women to serve as pillars and not to abandon this role, this is in view of the fact that, failure portends grave danger. Therefore, he encouraged the women to up their ante in this area as the society yearns for more at this historical juncture desirous of radical overtake in norms and ethical values.

Finally, he advised the women to light their candles in this area and let it glow non stop.

The Igbere progressive association International (IPAI) has sent a congratulatory message to Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe, the Hon member elect representing Bende North State Constituency on his victory at the poll.

In a letter signed by the association’s president and secretary, the association acknowledged Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe as the one responsible for awakening political consciousness of the youths of Bende North and that achievement contributed immensely to his victory.

They equally prayed that God gives him the strength to complete every good plans he has for his people

Reacting to the wishes, Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe thanked the association and promised them that those community development projects he has been delivering will continue, especially now that the people have trusted him with the mantle.
