The member elect Bende North State Constituency Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe has enjoi ed parents especially those in Umunna to take proper raising of children seriously because the outcome of the society is a function of family upbringing to a large extent.
Speaking during his visits to the parents of Felix Egu and Elekwachi Chukwu who were welcomed into their families with gladness,he stressed that the call to parenthood is a call to serious responsibilities.
It is binding on parents to ensure proper upbringing of their children. This way parents can help the society to develop healthily because the criminals and great inventors we have in our societies are products of family upbringing to a large extent
Speaking further, he congratulated the parents of the newborns and promised them that on his part as the elect member of Bende North, he will work assiduously to ensure that Umunna is placed on a threshold of sustainable development so that when their children will come of age, they will benefit from the works of Oziomachi Foundation in the area of infrastructural development.
